Independent Video Project

Now that you have the basics of editing a project in Final Cut Pro, it's time to start a video project that you can do yourself from start to finish. You have a series of choices of how you can pursue this project:

1. You may do a documentary in which you interview a series of people, asking them a prepared list of questions on a topic of interest to you. After you film your subjects, you will edit your video and create an interesting final product that others will enjoy watching. You could also interview yourself. I will need to see your questions before you begin. There isn't a set length, but it should be at least a few minutes long.

2. You could create a short skit or story, and tape it. You need to sketch out your idea and go over it with me first. It can't be just a brawl or chase, it has to have some story to it.

3. You could create a stop-action type film using clay or action figures. You would need to create some sort of background and have your figures tell a story.
