Using Action Script to Control a Movieclip

Take a look at this example by Jacob:



First, click on the game. Use the space key to jump and the left and right arrows to move the character. 1. First, start a new Flash Project, BUT this time make it the second choice (Action Script 2.0).

2. Make a new movieclip symbol and place it on the stage.

3. Open up this file and copy the code inside it.

4. Control click your movie clip and open the Actions. Paste the code inside the Actions window.

5. Test your movie.
